GLMUA will be offering a winter of musicians in our Moonlight Worship series 2023-24. When GLMUA President, Alice Wood dreamed up this program last year, we had no idea how popular it would become. It’s proven to provide the peaceful evenings that we had hoped for when we launched in the winter of 2022.

Thank you to everyone who performed and participated last season, and especially for the musicians who have volunteered their precious time to perform on our schedule this coming season during the dark winter months. We anticipate even more beautiful worship experiences to come.

A quiet evening of worship, peacefulness, and friends—that is the vision behind Moonlight Worship–via Zoom this winter. It consists of a simple evening program with 20 minutes of instrumental or worshipful music which people can enjoy as they wind down for the night. When the music comes to a close, people are welcome to stay in the Zoom room and chat for a bit, but there is no formal programming beyond the music.

Moonlight Worship provides a space for Urantia Book students in our region to get together with the simple purpose of enjoying each other’s company, and that of the divine parent. Join us during these winter evenings for community and peacefulness.

Whether people need a break from a busy schedule, need some help fighting of the winter blues, or just want a gentle reminder to spend some time with God, Moonlight Worship serves the souls of Urantia Book students.

Last year, Moonlight Worship was met with much gratitude from the participants, so this year GLMUA is hoping to expand the program’s reach. Feel free to spread the word.

Moonlight Worship will convene on the first Sunday of each month through March at 8:00 PM Central Time. The line-up of musicians is:

February 4 – Rebecca Oswald (piano)
March 3 – Ruthie Wilde (cello)
